Soulful Slide

Made within 2 weeks for the "Comfy Jam: Winter" Game Jam, (my first game jam in Godot development aka what I consider my first official game jam submission.).

Reach your friend on the other side of the ice by sliding across the ice.  Throw snow on the ground to make new paths and reach areas you previously couldn't. Try to get to the end of a level using as little snow as possible for an extra challenge. If you find yourself struggling or stuck, never fear.  Just hit retry to try again. You'll even get extra snow every time you restart a level, to make your next attempt ever so easier.

The game features two side modes.  Free Skate, where you can skate around to your heart's content using a nearly endless supply of snow to make whatever path you want. In the snowman builder mode, you can make your very own snowman using snow and various accessories you get from collecting gifts.  There are a total of 10 gifts scattered throughout the various levels of the game.  Collect them all to stylize your snowman to your heart's content.

  • Control pad/wsad: Move
  • Left mouse button: Create a pile of snow.
  • Right mouse button: Undo last action in snowman builder side mode.
